(00:00) Hey Beautiful Welcome back to the crazy chicken lady show. If you caught episode 2, you know, we talked about what it really means to show up unapologetically to stop hiding the parts of yourself that make you who you are and start embracing them fully. And today, we're diving a little deeper into that idea.
(00:22) Because showing up unapologetically starts with something most people overlook- your mindset. It's the way you see yourself. This is the way that you talk to yourself.
(00:34) And the stories you tell yourself about what's possible, and let me tell you, your mindset can be your biggest cheerleader or your biggest obstacle. Now, I don't say this lightly. Because for a long time, mine was my biggest obstacle. In my first year as an entrepreneur, I doubted myself every single day.
(00:58) I looked at everyone else online. The ones with the big followings, the shiny graphics, the perfect branding and thought that's what success looks like. So what did I do? I started trying to do everything their way?
(01:13) I copied their posting schedules, their marketing tactics. Even the way they talked sometimes. And you know what happened, I completely, completely lost me.
(01:27) It was like I was playing a role in someone else's story instead of writing my own in that constant comparison, it drained my confidence and stalled my growth, not just in business, but in who I was becoming. You can't build confidence if you're constantly building your life on someone else's blue point, not blue point blueprint, words are hard. When I finally stopped trying to fit in and started asking what actually feels right for me.
(02:02) That's when things shifted, that's when clarity came. That's when I realized you're never behind when you're aligned with your own path. So here's your first reflection moment.
(02:14) My friend think about one area of your life where you've been comparing yourself to others. In your career, your body, family, whatever it might be. How could you reframe that story?
(02:30) How could you make it about your timeline? Not someone else's. Now let's talk about the power of small wins. Because this one oh my cluckin' goodness, it's everything we live in a world that glorifies big results.
(02:49) The 30 day transformations, the overnight success stories But what I've learned, especially in this current season of focusing on my health and fitness, is that real change is built through tiny consistent actions. I started by just paying attention to what I was eating. Really noticing.
(03:10) how food made me feel and slowly I began swapping out junk food for better options, not out of guilt, but because I wanted to feel better. And you know what, it wasn't dramatic or flashy, but it changed everything.
(03:25) My energy evolved, my brain felt clear. And most importantly, I started trusting myself again, because every little choice was proof that it was showing up for me. So here's your next reflection.
(03:42) What's one small action you could take this week that moves you forward? Not 10, not 5, just one the power of one, because those small wins. They compound, and before you know it, you'll look back and realize you've come a long cluckin' way.
(04:08) Now let's get real for a second growth. Real lasting growth doesn't feel comfortable. It's not supposed to and I can tell you first-hand the season.
(04:22) I'm in right now is uncomfortable as hell. I'm navigating a new chapter, career changes. Health goals, rebuilding routines, and there are days where I think what am I even doing, but here's the thing: discomfort doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.
(04:41) It usually means you're right where you need to be because discomfort. My friend is a sign that you're strengthening beyond who you used to be. It's proof that you're growing and listen, growth isn't pretty.
(04:55) It's messy, emotional, and sometimes full of self-doubt. But it's also where the magic happens. So ask yourself this Where in your life are you avoiding discomfort
(05:09) Because it feels too scary? In what's one small, brave step, you could take toward it today. Here's what I want you to remember.
(05:22) You're not behind. You're not broken. You're becoming the becoming part, that's where the power is. Every challenge, every shift, every messy middle moment is shaping you into the woman, you're meant to be.
(05:40) And I hope that while you listen to this show you start seeing that version of yourself more clearly, because she's already there, you're just growing into her. You are capable, you are courageous and you, my friend, are doing better than you think. Alright.
